Our Termite Protection System

We use a five-part approach designed for Boise homes and Treasure Valley construction styles.

1) Inspection & Moisture Mapping

We inspect crawl spaces, sill plates, subfloor framing, plumbing penetrations, irrigation zones, and foundation edges. We also review previous treatments, repairs, and moisture concerns to build a complete picture of risk.

For new customers, we begin with a free on-site inspection and written estimate. We explain our findings, treatment options, and pricing before you approve any work.

2) Soil Barrier Installation

Based on the inspection findings, we establish a continuous treated zone around the structure using:

• Trenching to footer depth
• Rod injection at labeled intervals
• Spot or foam treatments for tight voids

This establishes a treated zone around the structure as part of the treatment plan.

3) Monitoring & Bait Systems (Optional)

For properties with landscaping changes or prior termite history, monitoring stations provide:

• Early detection of new activity
• Colony suppression over time
• Documented inspections and trend tracking

4) Moisture & Habitat Corrections

We may recommend property-specific adjustments such as:

• Irrigation and drainage corrections
• Splash block or gutter improvements
• Eliminating wood-to-soil contact
• Correcting negative grading near foundations

Small moisture fixes often make a big difference in long-term termite prevention.

5) Ongoing Monitoring

Ongoing service options include scheduled inspections, photo documentation on request, diagrams of treated zones, follow-ups as needed, and maintenance that keeps protection current.

Recurring service uses a 12-month agreement that continues month to month after the initial term. Early cancellation within the first 12 months has a $100 fee. Rates vary by home size, termite pressure, service scope, and available promotions or discounts. If covered pests return between visits, we return at no charge.

Preparing for Termite Service

A few steps before and after service allow us to complete the treatment efficiently while protecting your property.

Before We Arrive

Please make the treatment area accessible and identify features we need to work around:

• Clear 12 to 18 inches along the foundation
• Move wood piles, bins, or stored materials
• Provide crawl-space access
• Mark known irrigation or utility lines

After Treatment

Protect the treated areas and watch for renewed activity:

• Keep soil undisturbed for 48 to 72 hours
• Don’t caulk weep screens or foundation vents
• Maintain gutters and splash blocks
• Contact us if swarmers or mud tubes appear

Signs of Termite Activity

Arrange an inspection if you notice any of these warning signs:

• Mud tubes on foundations or crawl-space walls
• Hollow-sounding or soft wood
• Swarming insects near windows or lights
• Discarded wings
• Bubbling or cracked paint

Early detection can prevent costly structural repairs, especially during spring and early summer when swarming is common in the Treasure Valley.

Even after treatment, termites can return if soil barriers are disturbed or moisture conditions remain favorable. Ongoing inspections document structural changes, landscaping updates, and grading adjustments that could affect protection.
