Wildlife Removal & Exclusion
Safe, Humane Solutions for Nuisance Wildlife
When wildlife moves into attics, crawlspaces, garages, and yards, it creates safety risks, property damage, and repeat intrusion problems. Animals are not invading homes on purpose, they are following shelter, warmth, and food. Without proper trapping and exclusion, the same animals or new ones will continue to return.
Pestcom Pest Management provides professional wildlife control services focused on humane removal, structural exclusion, and long-term prevention.
Why Wildlife Becomes a Problem
- Damage to insulation, wiring, ductwork, and framing
- Droppings, urine, and nesting contamination
- Fleas, ticks, mites, and parasites entering the home
- Aggressive or defensive animal behavior
- Structural openings that allow rodents and insects inside
Once animals establish nests or dens, especially in attics and crawlspaces, the damage continues until entry points are permanently sealed.
Animals We Commonly Handle
- Squirrels
- Raccoons
- Skunks
- Bats
- Rabbits
- Gophers, moles, and voles
- Rats and mice
- Snakes
- Birds including pigeons and woodpeckers
- Coyotes and foxes when they create safety risks
Each species requires a different control strategy based on behavior, nesting habits, and legal regulations.
Our Wildlife Removal Process
1) Inspection & Activity Mapping
- Entry points into attics, crawlspaces, and structures
- Nesting and den locations
- Exterior access routes and tree or roofline contact
- Damage to vents, insulation, siding, and wiring
2) Humane Removal
- One-way exit devices
- Live trapping
- Species-specific capture systems
All removals are performed safely and in compliance with Idaho wildlife regulations.
3) Exclusion & Structural Sealing
- Sealing rooflines, soffits, vents, and foundation gaps
- Installing wildlife-resistant vent and crawlspace screens
- Reinforcing high-risk entry areas
Removal without exclusion results in repeat infestations. This step is what makes the solution permanent.
4) Sanitation & Prevention Guidance
- Food and waste management recommendations
- Vegetation and tree trimming guidance
- Storage and outdoor attractant reduction
- Seasonal risk prevention strategies
Why Professional Wildlife Control Matters
Retail repellents and DIY trapping do not address nesting sites, access points, or long-term pressure. Improper handling creates serious safety, legal, and health risks. Professional wildlife control removes the animals, seals the structure, and prevents the next animal from taking their place.

Wildlife Removal
This is when we get to work. By now we have a really good understanding how to protect your home and send these animals packin’. Here is exactly how we do it:
- Our technician will bring the necessary materials to capture the wild animal
- Depending on the animal, we will set up bait stations or traps to capture and stop them right in their tracks.
- Finally we will remove the animal in an ethical matter — by either taking it to the proper state authorities or moving it back into the wild
Our treatments are effective at removing these animals and are extremely safe for your furry friends that are also running around.
-
Wildlife & Pest Prevention
After we take care of your current invasion we want to make sure that no other wildlife comes back and if they do, we want to be there as your first defense. Here is how we do it.:
- Provide ongoing treatments to fortify the protection from wild animals and pests
- Make recommendations to reduce invasions
From there, we will regularly check back to make sure that your home is not a victim of pests or wildlife.

-
Do you offer commercial or HOA pest control?Yes. We provide commercial pest control for offices, restaurants, schools, multifamily properties, warehouses, and HOA common areas across Boise, Nampa, Meridian, and the broader Treasure Valley. Each program is built around the property's specific pest pressures, occupancy patterns, and compliance needs, and commercial agreements are negotiated by individual property and proposal with terms tailored to the owner or management company.
-
Do you service rural properties, acreage, and homes near canals?Yes. The Treasure Valley has a mix of subdivision homes, acreage, agricultural property, and homes near canal corridors and irrigation ditches — each environment creates different rodent and insect pressures, and our technicians adjust inspection points and treatment plans accordingly. Properties near water sources typically experience heavier spider and web activity, and acreage often requires additional attention to outbuildings, entry points, and rodent harborage areas.

Do you require a contract, and how does cancellation work?Pestcom uses a service agreement rather than a fixed contract — a 12-month initial agreement that converts to month-to-month after the first year. The agreement is mutual: we commit to delivering the services quoted at the agreed price, and you commit to giving us the opportunity to address any service concerns before canceling. If a concern is raised and we're unable to resolve it, no cancellation fee applies. Customers moving outside our service area without a transfer option are also exempt from any cancellation fee. After the first year, service is month-to-month and can be canceled at any time with no fee. Cancellations are processed via written notice or a conversation with our billing team that we document in writing. Commercial agreements are negotiated individually by property and proposal, and specialty services like bed bug, termite, and one-time treatments operate on service agreements rather than annual contracts.
